Space for Christmas and New Years is expensive and very challenging to find however determined skiers should contact us. Heavy snowfall in the French Alps Dec 7th,2009 -Ugine, France Approximately 3-6 feet of snow have fallen during the past two weeks in the mountains above 1500m. The skiing conditions are excellent and it is possible to go off-piste and ski fresh powder. The French Alps just got 4 hours closer to the Mid-Atlantic” Oct 16th, 2009 -Ugine, France- United started non-stop service from Washington Dulles to GVA this past spring. Flight leaves daily around 6pm and arrives into Geneva around 8am the next day. Flight returns daily at noon and arrives into Washington Dulles around 3pm. This is the first time in memory that non-stop flights are available from IAD to GVA. Also the new motorway from Geneva to Annecy has shaved 30 minutes off the drive time to French ski resorts in Savoie such as the Three Valleys and Paradiski. La Tania, Three Valleys is now only 1hr 50 minutes from Geneva airport (by taxi or car).
